The Escape P9 speaker is built to be left outside all year round. Hidden in the bottom of the speaker is an integrated steel bracket that allows the speaker to be attached with a steel wire. The control panel at the top of the speaker can be locked with a code, making P9 ideal for cafés, restaurants, museums, wellness and similar outdoor activity and serving areas where stylish design and good sound quality are desired.
Big sound with one P9 – Stereo with two
The four specially designed units mounted on the sides of the P9 speaker give a rare fullness to the sound. It’s a technique Escape calls “Omni-directional-sound” where music is presented in a large and wide soundscape with only one P9 speaker.
If you’re playing in larger gardens, simply pair two Escape P9 speakers in a “Twin mode” in the app to create a big stereo soundscape with body and fullness throughout the garden, and all that’s left to do is dance.
Technical description of the P9 outdoor speaker
EscapeTM P9’s high sound quality and weather resistance is based on a well thought-out and advanced construction. Each P9 is equipped with 4 separate 3-inch full-range units, constructed with polypropylene (PP) diaphragm, aluminium dust cap, linear flat spider, vented voice coil and a powerful magnet construction.
The 8-inch subwoofer features a specially designed fibreglass-reinforced chassis with an oversized magnet system, polypropylene (PP) diaphragm, linear flat spider and vented voice coil for powerful, deep and accurate bass response.
Driven by an extremely efficient audiophile digital amplifier, the sound is both optimised and user-adjustable via the built-in dual 24-bit DSP processor. The P9 speaker is easily operated via Escape’s dedicated app for both iOS® and AndroidTM.
