DC Blocker
Most of our Hi Fi devices are equipped with ring core transformers and that’s a good thing, but such a bandit has a big minus and that is that incoming DC from the mains can cause mechanical noise from the ring core. This is where the DC blocker comes in and blocks the DC from entering the transformer, thus avoiding the noise that will inevitably degrade the sound experience. It is plugged into the mains socket of the appliance and the power plug is then plugged into the DC blocker
