IsoAcoustics OREA Indigo – Decoupling your components
OREA Indigo effectively eliminates the vibrations in your system, giving you greater audio clarity and focus. OREAs are ideal for electronic components including amplifiers, DACs, CD players, speakers and turntables. These isolators are made from machined stainless steel and feature a low-profile design to minimise any increase in height, so you can still have your components in your furniture.
Each OREA model is designed with a different weight capacity. They each have a coloured ring on the bottom insulator indicating model and weight capacity. The OREA series is individually packaged to provide greater flexibility in determining the number of units to be used. We recommend a minimum of 3 units under each component depending on the weight. The OREA Indigo is the second largest model in the series and has a carrying capacity of 7.2 kg. per unit, and it is recommended that min. 3 pieces to achieve the best balance. Dimensions are 58 (width) x 33mm (height).
Greater sound clarity
The upper flange of the OREAs is designed to provide a suction cup-like effect and adhere to the underside of the component, while the lower flange adheres to the supporting surface. All the energy is controlled within the core by the OREAs, which are set to work within specific weight ranges. This results in greater clarity and a more open soundstage, providing authentic, three-dimensional sound.
Works with or without feet
The existing feet on your components can be connected to the OREA insulators just fine, if they fit their perimeter. Alternatively, you can get better performance by either removing the feet altogether or placing the OREAs next to the existing feet to have them connect directly to the chassis or bottom of the component.
