JBL HDI-1600 – A powerful compact speaker
The HDI-1600 is the smallest speaker in JBL’s HDI series, but its sound is anything but small. This compact 2-way bookshelf/stand speaker delivers outstanding sound combined with its sleek and modern design. The foundation of the sound is JBL’s patented High-Definition Imaging waveguide technology, where the patented 1″ 2410H-2 compression driver is mounted for an absolutely stunning spread of sound. The 6.5″ midrange/bass unit features an aluminium diaphragm and powerful motor system to deliver powerful, dynamic and incredibly authentic sound production.
The cabinet has been heavily braced by JBL to ensure a good acoustic foundation, and the bass reflex port is located at the rear with computer-optimised tubes. The design features a luxurious and beautiful curved cabinet, finished in either black high gloss, grey oak veneer or walnut veneer. The front fabric attaches magnetically for easy attachment and removal.
If the speakers are to be mounted on stands, these must be purchased separately.
