With the LS50 Wireless II, KEF has managed to do what was unthinkable just a decade ago – they have created an all-in-one speaker that can replace the traditional system’s many separate products and cables, without sacrificing either sound or performance. The LS50 Wireless is a true high-end performing speaker that can reveal every detail of your favourite music, which you can stream from Spotify, Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer or Roon through AirPlay 2 or Chromecast. The LS50 Wireless II introduces the 12th generation of KEF’s unique and patented Uni-Q unit, which has been enhanced in several ways through KEF’s Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT), which won What-Hi-Fi’s ‘Innovation of the year’ award in 2020. MAT is a complex maze-like structure of different sizes and lengths, capable of absorbing specific frequency ranges, creating an “acoustic black hole”. KEF has placed the technology behind the tweeter, enabling it to absorb as much as 99% of unwanted sound from the rear of the unit. The result is that distortion is eliminated so that pure and natural sound can be maximised. It’s innovation that we’ve come to know and love KEF for.

Just as we’ve come to expect from KEF, with its 12th generation Uni-Q with MAT and a completely reworked motor system, KEF ensures you never miss the sweet spot. This means you get a significantly better stereo image, with sound that’s much more three-dimensional and realistic. Exactly as the music sounds in real life, and as our ears are meant to hear it.
