This is thanks to the wireless and class-leading W2 platform that KEF introduced on the award-winning LS50 Wireless II. Whatever music service, podcast, internet radio or wired source you choose, the LS60 Wireless delivers unrivalled performance.
Stream anything
With the LS60 Wireless you get wireless compatibility with Wi-Fi, Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast and Bluetooth, and through the KEF Connect app you can stream Amazon Music, Qobuz and Deezer or listen to internet radio and podcasts. You can use native apps to stream directly from Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and QPlay, and it’s Roon Ready*. The LS60 Wireless also supports streaming of PCM files up to 24bit/384kHz, as well as DSD and MQA, which allows you to listen to the audio from the original master recordings.
Connect anything
The LS60 Wireless supports all your wired sources, whether you love listening to vinyl records on your turntable or want the best possible sound from your CD player and games console. There’s also an HDMI (eARC) connection to your TV, and a dedicated output on each of the two speakers, so you can connect one or two KEF KC62 subwoofers.
Wireless or wired connection
The LS60 Wireless gives you the choice of wireless or wired connection to maximise performance. You can use the intelligent low-latency wireless connection for exceptionally reliable listening at up to 24bit/96kHz or the wired connection with a resolution of up to 24bit/192kHz.
Tailor your listening
The KEF Connect app has intuitive sound settings, so you can fine-tune your LS60 Wireless to best suit your room. There are normal and expert modes to ensure each user gets the best performance.
Single Apparant Source – Single source, coherent sound
At the heart of the LS60 Wireless is Single Apparent Source technology, adapted from KEF’s flagship Blade loudspeaker. The technology aims to achieve the acoustic ideal of a single-point source, where low, mid and high frequencies radiate from a single point. That’s what makes the LS60 Wireless incredibly coherent, with more accurate and clear sound across the entire bandwidth.
Uni-Q – Hear every detail, from anywhere
Uni-Q technology is the building block of KEF’s signature sound, and it’s designed to perform at its best in the LS60 Wireless. The remarkable 12th generation Uni-Q driver array acts as a single point source, magnifying the sweet spot and spreading the sound more evenly so that everyone sitting in different parts of the room can experience the same natural and detailed sound.
Metal Absorption Technology – Absorbs 99% of unwanted sound
The LS60 Wireless also benefits from KEF’s latest acoustic innovation: Metamaterial Absorption Technology (MAT™). MAT™ is a highly complex labyrinth-like structure that absorbs 99% of unwanted sound from the back of the driver, eliminating the resulting distortion and providing a cleaner, more natural sound.
Uni-Core – Maximum bass – minimum space
The LS60 Wireless features revolutionary Uni-Core technology that redefines size versus performance. Two pairs of Uni-Core bass drivers are mounted back-to-back in a force-cancelling arrangement, virtually eliminating cabinet vibration. Together with P-Flex driver surround and Smart Distortion Control Technology, the bass is balanced, detailed, deep and powerful.
Intelligent DSP
The Music Integrity Engine is at the heart of the LS60 Wireless. It allows the Single Appparent Source configuration and the Uni-Core drivers to work in perfect harmony, which raises the performance of both of them. Its low-frequency phase correction function delivers precise timing, so it’s experienced exactly as if you were listening to the original sound.
Amplifier with plenty of power
The LS60 Wireless is also equipped with an abundance of power, for the tailored Class AB and Class D amplification delivers a combined 1400 watts of audiophile quality, with the amplifiers dedicated to high, mid and low frequencies in each speaker.
