What is the difference between Mark Levinson and all the competitors?

Mark Levinson has always taken the music as a starting point, and thus the ability to reproduce the overtones. If the highest note a piccolo has was 4000 HZ, then an MP3 player could handle it very well, but it is not.
For a note of 4000 hz, the fundamental consists of 4000 hz plus the overtones, of which there are 13. The upper harmonic of 4000Hz is 52000 Hz (4000 x 13) and if the amplifier cannot reproduce that note perfectly, then you are not experiencing the authentic sound. The 52000 Hz is also very weak in strength, which means that it is "drowning" in its own noise, which the majority of even very expensive amplifiers make. If the machine has run out of one of the toners, you cannot get the color you want. The exact same principles apply to sound, where things do not give the "right" sound if a tone (overtone) is missing.
