Raidho's critically acclaimed ribbon tweeter
Raidho's proprietary ribbon tweeter is a unique design. It is designed and handmade in Denmark. To be precise, it is a Planar Magnetic Tweeter because of the grooves in the foil. The foil is 11 micrometers thick, which means it has 50 times less mass than a conventional dome tweeter.
This is because there is no coil and the foil has an extremely low weight of 20 milligrams. The result is virtually no resonance or distortion, and the breakup point is an incredible 82 KHz. What you hear is incredibly clear and natural sound. All the detail in the world, but no fatigue, no distortion and no color distortion. The best tweeter in the world? The manufacture of the Raidho loudspeakers
At our factory in Denmark, we are proud to have a very committed team of craftsmen. They have dedicated their passion to making the best speakers possible. We spend many hours on each speaker to make it a work of art. You can feel and hear that in every single Raidho design.
A man collects one speaker after another. It essentially becomes his creation of passion. Special attention is paid to every detail, no matter how small, to achieve perfection. After assembly, each speaker is listened to and the measurements are compared to the Master Reference of the model in question. No speaker leaves the factory without being carefully examined with heart and mind.
Raidho produces as much as possible in-house and in collaboration with local companies to get the quality they want and the passion they need. It is the only way they can carry on the Raidho legacy.
When Raidho designs a new speaker model, they set ambitious goals and then design and build the specific parts to meet the goals of that model. No significant parts are selected from a brochure. Everything is custom made to create unique creations.
