Macintosh RS 150

The wireless speaker RS150 is easy to use and delivers excellent home audio performance despite being relatively compact.

The speaker includes several built-in technologies for streaming, such as Spotify® Connect, TIDAL® Connect, Apple® AirPlay® 2, Bluetooth®, Chromecast and Roon, which make it easy to stream to the RS150 from your favorite streaming apps on your smart devices. There is no need for any dedicated control app.

The RS150 uses Bluetooth 5.0 with support for Advanced Audio Coding (AAC) in high bitrate, Qualcomm® aptX™ HD for hi-res audio playback and Qualcomm aptX Low Latency for improved audio transfer speed.

The speaker's moderate size makes it easy to place and move around your home.

Compared to the previous model, the power output is doubled, with the bass unit receiving 90 Watts and the tweeter 30 Watts.

The bass unit has been upgraded from a 4” to a 5-1/4” diameter driver; this, along with a larger and redesigned woofer cabinet, produces higher output with lower distortion and deeper bass extension.

The speaker also has a new, fast-reacting illuminated digital output meter.

The RS150 is compatible with TIDAL HiFi Lossless Quality playback and supports file streaming at up to 24-bit/192kHz. The speaker is also a Roon Ready endpoint device and is compatible with Google Assistant.
